Future4care launches its second call for projects!
6 months after the launch of its first call for projects, on the occasion of France Digital Day, Future4care is opening the applications for the second time, in order to select 20 new startups on the thematic of personalized medicine and remote patient care. Applicants have until May 9, 2022 to submit their applications.
This unique accelerator in the European e-health landscape is particularly interested in companies that meet the following three criteria
- Geography: startups headquartered in Europe can join the accelerator
- Maturity: candidates must be at an intermediate level of development and need support to accelerate and eventually finance their "go to market
- Relevance: each company must respond to one of the two themes around which this second batch of the gas pedal focuses. These are personalized medicine and remote patient care.
By joining Future4care, these companies will benefit from both support in scaling up and office space at its recently opened campus at 8 rue Jean-Antoine de Baïf, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.
The acceleration program will be built around a network of recognized experts and mentors and will provide a set of tools. The mentors will come from outside the company, including lawyers, entrepreneurs and doctors, but also and above all from the ranks of Future4care's four founders: Capgemini, Generali, Orange and Sanofi.
The problems encountered by the entrepreneurs will be attached to and dealt with in the labs. The 5 labs proposed are the Creative lab, Medical & Regulatory lab, Business & Ethics lab, Data & AI Lab and Living Lab.
In recent months, the four major international groups behind the European accelerator have been joined by the first two members, Be-Ys and more recently Biocodex, who are also involved in supporting these young companies. A dozen other medium and large companies will join the ecosystem in the coming months.
The support of startups is already effective since February 2022 for the first promotion composed of 20 startups: ArcaScience, Bbalance, Blazar, Bliss Digital Therapeutics, Bodyo, Casis, Hoppen, I-Virtual, Juisci, Kapcode, Knok, MaPatho, Medvir, PK Vitality, Remedee Labs, Rofim, SentinHealth, Trayvisor, Wefight and Whitelab.
The first collaborations within this class have already been formed, such as the one between I-Virtual and Knok, who met at Future4care. By joining forces, they have developed a world first. The integration of a camera-based tool for measuring physiological variables in teleconsultation procedures
Future4care aims to become the European ecosystem of excellence in e-health. In addition to its startup gas pedal, the structure launched in June 2021 by Capgemini, Generali, Orange and Sanofi announced the creation of an institute on March 22 during its first conference "Ethics and e-health in 2030". The institute will focus on three main activities: an academy, a think tank and circles.
