22 start-ups join the first Future4care class

Future4care, Europe's leading e-health start-up gas pedal, today announced the names of the 22 start-ups selected to join the first class of its gas pedal. Launched in the summer of 2021 by four major international groups - Capgemini, Generali, Orange and Sanofi, Future4care aims to accelerate progress in digital health and build tomorrow's e-health solutions with a multidisciplinary community. 

From September 22nd to October 24th, Future4care organized its first call for projects around two key digital health themes: personalized medicine and remote patient management.

Following this call for projects, for which 154 start-ups applied, 41 applications were shortlisted and reviewed by a jury of experts including Anaïs Barut (Damae), Xavier Godron (DNAscript), Jamie Walters (Calywia), Jean-Baptiste Hennequin (Fonds physique pour la médecine), Samuel Ohayon (MedXlab, CTS), Jacky Vollet (Association française des diabétiques), Chahra Louafi (BPI autonomous patient fund), Antoine Leprêtre (HEC Paris incubator), Pierre Abadie (physician) and members of Future4care's 4 founding companies: François Devif (Capgemini), Jean-Vianney Massin (Generali) Jérôme Berger (Orange) and Arnaud Robert (Sanofi).

By joining Future4care, these start-ups will have access to an acceleration program that includes :

  • application spaces called "labs" and an online platform for working and exchanging outside the walls, while retaining a quality experience,

  • the opportunity to join a 6400 m2 campus in Paris, with catering, brainstorming and training facilities,

  • a unique network of healthcare, scientific, academic and industrial professionals, enabling start-ups to optimize their time and benefit from personalized meetings,

  • access to the expertise of the founding members (Capgemini, Generali, Orange and Sanofi) and a hundred or so profiles from all walks of life, via 360 degrees of personalized and individualized support (business, legal, data, ethics, regulatory, etc.), both online and face-to-face.

 Future4care also recently announced the arrival of Olivier Guérin, Head of Geriatrics at Nice University Hospital, as Vice-Chairman of Future4care, as well as a number of structuring partnerships that place the gas pedal at the heart of a growing ecosystem, including partnerships with Hello Tomorrow and Galen Growth.

Casis offers cardiovascular imaging software to improve and reinforce clinical diagnosis. Health For People's e-health platform was developed with a single goal in mind: giving everyone (patients or healthcare professionals) the means to get involved in their own health and take an active role in their care. Health For People offers decision-support and assisted care management tools for healthcare professionals, enabling them to tailor treatments delivered to patients.

Hoppen is a project for a phygital platform to accompany patients during their hospitalization, with personalized services tailored to each patient at every stage of their journey. The initial observation was that nursing staff spends only 30% of their time with the patient, the rest in the corridors + 7 km in the corridor. The result of the experiment was that they spent 55% of their time with the card. Their solution is to digitize all actions that take place in the room: meals / room cleaning / care and life in the building.

Edtech/continuing medical education combining AI (proprietary algorithms) and deeptech with a SAAS solution. Its aim is to democratize medical education.

It will also become a platform for peer-to-peer exchange. Enabling HCPs to receive instant, live and reliable information in summary, visual and personalized format.
