The digital revolution is a global transformation: it originates in research, is rooted in healthcare, and requires the deployment of industrial solutions that enable a change of scale in response to the expectations of patients and healthcare professionals, both in the city and in hospitals. To give France the best chance of playing a leading role in this revolution, it is essential to mobilize scientific, hospital-university and industrial forces, and to bring them together.
This is the purpose of the partnership announced by the three major players - PariSanté Campus, Future4care and @Hôtel-Dieu - whose mission is to accelerate innovation in the healthcare sector, each with their own specific areas of expertise: PariSanté Campus in the field of research and training, Future4Care in the field of industry, and @Hôtel-Dieu in the field of university hospitals.
By forging an ambitious partnership, these three players intend to bring together the ecosystems they form and lead to create a global digital health community. The goal of this partnership, which is open to all regions, is to increase France's national and international influence in this field.
It includes a special focus on start-ups, which are at the heart of the digital health revolution. PariSanté Campus, Future4care and @Hôtel-Dieu, which offer differentiated and complementary services, have therefore joined forces to launch joint programs open to start-ups supported by the three initiatives.
Four areas of collaboration are at the heart of this unprecedented partnership:
To offer start-ups cross-support at the highest level, based on a group of six pilot start-ups expressing a strong need for articulation with the three worlds;
Offer a unique program of events, and thus become a hub of activity and exchange for a large global community of innovation in digital health, through joint events and coordinated programming;
Start collaborations around health data: lead joint reflection integrating the expectations and constraints of research, care and industry around health data, in order to accelerate the digital health revolution by identifying innovative strategies for sharing and analyzing data;
Coordinate the research efforts of the three structures, and propose joint publications between Future4care, Hôtel-Dieu and PariSanté Campus.
More immediately, the three partners will be organizing cross-fertilization meetings with selected startups from the different structures:
First, in April 2022, @Hôtel-Dieu will organize an initial hospital immersion day for start-ups and industry players;
Then, in May, Future4care will organize the first workshop with the 6 pilot start-ups;
Finally, in June, a workshop on health data will be held at PariSanté Campus.
The purpose of this partnership is to provide the ecosystem with clarity and clear direction for digital healthcare startups. More extensively, the areas of collaboration identified will serve to make progress in digital healthcare as efficient as possible.

About @Hôtel-Dieu
@Hôtel-Dieu, supported by AP-HP and Université de Paris, is an initiative designed to accelerate innovation in healthcare, by enabling start-ups, healthcare professionals and researchers to work together in a new way at the heart of one of Europe's oldest hospitals. In the heart of the Hôtel-Dieu, and in direct contact with healthcare services, we are opening a support platform for start-ups, in partnership with BioLabs and the Digital Medical Hub, as well as a third-location facility which, in conjunction with research and healthcare, will enable us to work on the construction of new digital healthcare models. @Hôtel-Dieu has already enabled the launch of an initial project to build a universal remote patient monitoring platform with five leading start-ups: Lifen, Nouveal, Withings, Implicity and Nabla. The launch of @Hôtel-Dieu is in line with the actions undertaken by the AP-HP to accelerate innovation in healthcare, with the creation of the Carnot@AP-HP institute, the healthcare data warehouse and the Innovation Hub.
