Future4care, one year at the heart of the e-health revolution

Articles & Content

Paris (France), May 16th, 2022 - In June 2021, Sanofi, Capgemini, Generali and Orange announced the creation of Future4care. One year after its launch, the inauguration of Future4care today provides an opportunity to take stock of its successes and its ambition to accelerate the development of e-health solutions.

Published on May 18th, 2022 at 11:16 am

First step taken: the launch of the gas pedal. In December 2021, after a selection phase, 20 digital healthcare startups joined Future4care to make up its first class.

In February 2022, their support began. A personalized program was co-constructed with each of them.

In April 2022, Future4care launched its second call for applications, with plans to recruit a new class to complement the first one already in place.

The second milestone reached was the launch of the institute, with a day of conferences focusing on ethics. The Institute's vocation is to acculturate, federate and move the lines. It has set up a Scientific and Ethical Advisory Board, comprising leading figures from a wide range of disciplines and chaired by Professor Olivier Guérin. This year, the institute will focus its initial work on the impact of digital technology on personalized medicine and remote access to care.

In parallel with the launch of its activities, Future4care has federated an initial circle of industrial partners: Be-Ys, Biocodex, Alira Health and UCB have joined the ecosystem. Other companies will soon follow to give Future4care its full European dimension.

To symbolize these initial successes, Future4care is inaugurating its premises and digital platform on May 16th, 2022, entirely designed to foster ideation, collaboration and, more broadly, innovation.

Agnès De Leersnyder, Managing Director of Future4care, comments: “Together with the Future4care team and the committed collaborators of our founders, we are very proud of how far we have come in the last 12 months. Today, over a hundred entrepreneurs, experts, researchers and other healthcare professionals have joined us. The adventure is just starting. We look forward to seeing you in a year's time.”
